Welsh Benefits Charter launched
The Welsh Government has launched the 'Welsh Benefits Charter', an agreement with all 22 local authorities to work together to improve the Welsh Benefits System.
The document sets out guiding principles for the design and roll-out of payments and grants that are devolved to the Welsh Government, such as Free School Meals, Council Tax Reduction Scheme, Schools Essentials Grant and Education Maintenance Allowance. You can read it here.
