British Blind Sport and RNIB launch 'See Sport Differently' hub

British Blind Sport and RNIB have joined forces to encourage vision impaired people to participate in sport and become more active. The 'See Sport Differently' campaign also aims to tackle the barriers that people with sight loss face when trying to exercise. The campaign was launched following research showing that over half of the blind and partially sighted population are inactive, doing less than 30 minutes of physical activity a week.

The 'See Sport Differently' hub contains a range of resources, including a quiz to help you find a suitable activity, personal stories and activities to do at home.

You can also use BBS's Activity Finder to find VI-friendly clubs in your area. There are clubs covering a wide variety of sports in Wales, including bowls, judo, athletics and shooting.
