Find your local Talking Newspaper

If you struggle to read printed material, you can stay up to date with local news, features and information through your local Talking Newspaper (TN).

The Talking News Federation (TNF) supports around 300 Talking Newspapers and 25,000 listeners across the UK. Examples of TNs in Wales include:

  • Llandudno (Aberconwy TN)
  • Dolgellau (Dolgellau & District TN)
  • St Asaph (Colwyn Link TN)
  • Welshpool (Powys TN)
  • Swansea (Swansea & Gower TN)
  • Saundersfoot (Tenby TN)
You can find your local edition on the Find a Talking Newspaper section of the TNF website, or ring the TNF Enquiry Office on 01793 49755 and ask for a telephone number for the TN nearest to your home address.

Regular updates are available free of charge in audio format and, depending on where you live, recordings are available weekly, fortnightly or monthly to help keep you connected to your local community.
