Report on accessing eye care services in Cardiff and Vale published
The South Glamorgan Community Health Council has published its report 'Accessing NHS Eye Care Service in Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan'.
The report is based on feedback from patients who had accessed NHS Primary Care Eye Care services, about their experiences in Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan. This feedback was gathered via an online survey which was open in early 2022. Although 95% of respondents rated their consultation experience positively, many of those who were referred for further treatment reported delays in receiving this.
