Royal College of Ophthalmology Review of Eye Care Services in Wales
The Royal College of Ophthalmology (RCOpth) has published a report: 'External Review of Eye Care Services in Wales'. The purpose of the reviews was to highlight areas of best practice and to provide an analysis of where there are inefficiencies in the system.
The report found 'much that is highly commendable regarding the Ophthalmology Services in Wales', but also that certain areas were in need of reform, with the difficulty of recruiting staff in some locations being a significant problem. You can read the full report here.
