'Bring us our creative rights' - Disabled people's cultural and international manifesto launched
Disability Arts Cymru (DAC) launched its manifesto demanding cultural and international rights for disabled people on the International Day of Disability 2021, in line with recommendations from United Nations Convention for the Rights of Disabled People (UNCRDP).
The report was produced with partner organisations, including Disability Wales. It considers how disabled people engage with the arts as artists themselves, and as citizens, and calls on the Welsh Government and all Public sector organisations to commit to support the right-based approach of the UNCRDP.
