Disability Wales launches information resource for disabled people and disabled people’s organisations
Disability Wales (DW) has launched an updated version of 'Know your Rights, Use your Rights, Live your Rights!', a guide for people with disabilities and organisations that support them.
The new version has been produced following a survey carried out by DW which revealed that many disabled people felt that their rights were not adequately enforced. The 130-page document details the various areas of legislation that define disability rights in the UK and Wales, such as the Equality Act and the Wellbeing and Social Services Act, gives useful additional resources and case studies.
