'Time to Focus' report makes case for increased research into eye conditions
Fight for Sight, the UK research charity, has published a major new report, 'Time to Focus'. It makes an urgent call for more investment in sight loss research, showing the rising personal and economic cost of sight loss in the UK.
The report looks at various aspects of sight loss: the cost to the economy; the personal impact on all areas of life; research activity in the UK compared to the rest of the world; and the effect that Covid-19 has had on people living with sight loss and researchers in the sector.
