NHS Wales produces final report on the Accessible Information Standard

The NHS Centre for Equality and Human Rights in Wales has published its final report on the introduction of the Accessible Information Standard (for people with sensory loss).

The report describes progress made in recording the needs of patients with sensory loss by GP surgeries, and its use when making e-referrals, and the engagement with the community and health professionals. You can read the report here (scroll down to the 'Documents' section).

The All Wales Standards for communication and information for people with sensory loss were introduced in 2014 and you can read them on the Welsh Government website.
