Registering as sight impaired
The Macular Society has produced a leaflet which summarises the benefits of registering as sight impaired or severely sight impaired.
Registration is voluntary, but can help you to access services or obtain discounts. The information is relevant to people with sight loss due to any eye condition (not just macular diseases). You can find out more, and download or listen to the leaflet here.
