Report recommends new model of care for Wales
The expert panel which was set up to undertake a review of health and social care in Wales has produced its final report. It recommends new models of care, with services organised around the individual and their family, as close to home as possible.
The report has been welcomed by the Health Secretary, who has said that its recommendations will be taken into account in the Welsh Government's long term plan for health and social care, which is due to be published in the spring.
