Disability Wales presents report on disability rights to UN committee
Disability Wales (DW) has produced a report for the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Disabled People on the implementation of the Convention on the rights of disabled people in Wales. This follows a consultation exercise via an on-line survey, three roadshows and evidence provided via email. The report highlights progress, and areas for improvement.
The report calls on the Welsh Government to co-ordinate efforts to integrate the UNCRDP more effectively across all decision making and policy development. To find out more, visit the DW website.
