Helping people with visual impairment living in Radnorshire.
Radnorshire Association for the Blind is a society of blind and partially sighted people and of people challenged by failing sight.
The group is open to all visually impaired Radnorshire residents.
Membership of the society offers people with a visual impairment social outings, support and contact throughout the Radnorshire area.
Becoming a member is a great way of getting access to support and advice, as well as making friends in the area.
Our aims are:
- to provide a social environment for visually impaired people
- to provide a voice for all visually impaired people in Radnorshire.
What we do:
- contact everyone who registers with us
- offer free advice to clients about services in the area
- provide a Christmas dinner with entertainment to all our members
- provide a free summer trip to members
- offer grants to help towards the cost of equipment to help people with a visual impairment
Radnorshire Association works to bring new services and special days to Radnorshire, such as the Action for Blind People bus every summer.
How you can help us:
- join us as a member
- take part in our meetings
- volunteer for a project - we can help even people with little or no vision to do something useful
- if you are sighted, volunteer to support projects

In Summer, we hold our AGM at the Metropole in Llandrindod Wells, a fabulous meal, a little entertainment and all with likeminded people for company and it's all free to members!
