Thomas Pocklington Trust/Deafblind UK 'Uni in Sight‘ campaign

Thomas Pocklington Trust, a national charity which supports blind and partially sighted people with a focus on Education, Employment and Engagement has joined with Deafblind UK to launch a campaign 'Uni in Sight' to provide universities, staff and students with the information to help them get an ‘insight’ in to the experiences of blind, partially sighted and deafblind students.

The campaign focuses on everything outside of the lecture hall, embracing the full university experience, including socialising and the transition to living in a new environment. Throughout September each week, the campaign will have a different focus on various aspects of student life.

You can find out more on the Pocklington Trust website, and follow #UniInSight on Twitter for the latest tips.

As part of UniInSight, there will be a Student livestream Q&A on 30th September. To book a free place, click here.
