Nystagmus Awareness Day 2020

Saturday 20th June 2020 was Nystagmus Awareness Day. Nystagmus Network, the charity which supports people and families with the condition, and raises funds for research, believes that the more people who know about it the better. It means that adults and children who have nystagmus will get the help, support and services they need in education, employment, health, mobility and leisure and will enjoy a better quality of life.

You can find out more about the event here. A new publication, ‘Nystagmus is …’, was launched on Nystagmus Awareness Day. The booklet is full of contributions from people who have nystagmus, describing how they feel about it and how it affects their lives.
