Newport school wins award for its work with vision impaired children
Congratulations to Maes Ebbw School in Newport, which has been given a Vision Friendly Mark award – the first in Wales – from the training organisation Positive Eye for its 'outstanding' work with children with visual and multi-sensory impairments.
Staff at the school were supported by Gwent Sensory and Communication Support Unit (SenCom) and Positive Eye to make a range of changes to improve accessibility. The South Wales Argus included an article about the award, which you can read here.
