Volunteers wanted for BBC programme
Volunteers with vision impairment living in Cardiff are wanted for a BBC programme to be broadcast before Christmas. The production company would like to form a choir of 6-10 vision impaired people who have not had much or any experience of singing before and who may have experienced isolation due to sight loss or for other reasons, but are happy to talk about it. It is hoped that singing may have a positive well-being effect.
In the programme, vocal coach, music arranger and choral director for the Kingdom’s Choir, Mark De-Lisser, brings his expert musical skills, his charisma and enthusiasm to demonstrate the power of singing to lift people’s lives. Mark will unlock people’s inner voice and show them the joy of singing together - one group at a time.
