Torfaen Council is working as part of the Gwent Local Resilience Forum (GLRF) as part of a wider Government, Welsh Government and NHS strategy in response to Covid-19.

Torfaen Volunteer Alliance have over 100 volunteers on their books waiting to support with different roles including shopping, telephone, prescriptions collection:

Sight Cymru is continuing to provide the following services over the telephone:

Royal Society for Blind Children.

RSBC is currently unable to offer home visits but can arrange targeted direct support to children and young people, aged 0-25, who are visually impaired. They can also work with parents, carers and other professionals.
