BAVO Community Support

Community support services are being co-ordinated by BAVO. They have established a Covid-19 Community Response Team operating in Bridgend. The service offers a telephone befriending/welfare checks to help people feel less anxious and more connected and supported.

Care & Repair 'Helping Hands': For older people who are self-isolating in Bridgend County Borough and need help with food shopping, picking up prescriptions or practical support.  Telephone 01656 646755

BridgeVIS

BridgeVIS members are being contacted by telephone by members of the committee.

Royal Society for Blind Children.

RSBC is currently unable to offer home visits but can arrange targeted direct support to children and young people, aged 0-25, who are visually impaired. They can also work with parents, carers and other professionals.
